Amazonia, the first reality show to take place in the largest tropical forest in the world, is being debuted in Brazil, and will roll out internationally in the fall.

Created in association with the Brazilian video production company Cinevideo ProduÁűes and Endemol International, Amazonia aims to showcase the forest not only as the backdrop for the show, but also as an ally of men--one that must be respected.
The programme follows 12 participants, all Brazilian personalities, such as athletes, artists, actors, businessmen and models like Miss Brasil NatŠlia Guimar„es. After passing tests of resistance and other challenges, players accumulate points (there is no elimination).

Qualities such as the ability to adapt to the environment, capacity for teamwork and respect for nature will be considered when choosing the millionaire. The final reward is R$1 million, which will be shared betweenthe winner and the riverside communities that are being helped by the Amazon Sustainable Foundation.

In October, the reality show will be launched in Europe, during MIPCOM in Cannes.
