Latvia is making DTT more widely available, with reception equipment now being sold in Ekor and RD Electronics consumer electronics stores rather than just Lattelecom outlets.

The service officially launched by the TeliaSonera-backed incumbent telco in August is currently available within a 70km radius of the capital, Riga, and received in over 3,000 homes.

It offers two packages, consisting of 15 and 30 channels and costing LVL3.5 (Ä5) and LVL6.9 a month respectively.
