Networks offered free footage from English-language Russian channel

RT, the four-year-old English-language global television channel formerly known as Russia Today, has opened up all its content to rival networks for free use. RTís FreeVideo is the first English-language video agency in the country, the Russian state-funded channel has announced.
The service is made up of news stories and programmes in high definition format, which can be accessed at freevideo.rt.tv and on the channelís main website.
Any Internet user and media organisation is encouraged to watch RT news and download reports free of charge, including from the regularly updated archive.
