Student channel to start in France

New thematic channel Ma Chaîne Etudiante will kick off on October 28 on cable as well as the Orange, Free and Neuf SFR IPTV platforms.

Initially scheduled for the beginning of this month, MCE is dedicated to student life and targets the four million pupils from college and students aged 16 to 25.

Programming includes news and advices on jobs and studies, good ways to enrich the student life, along with series, music formats and sport magazines. Co-owned by four people coming from school and television sectors like Ghislain Achard, France Télévisions former General Director, MCE’s business model is based on advertising.
