The Polish incumbent telco Telekomunikacja Polska (TP) ended Q3 with 283,000 subscribers to its IPTV and DTH services.
Its IPTV subscriber total grew by 88% year-on-year, and it sold 132,000 DTH subscriptions in the nine months to September 30 this year.
Although the France Telecom-backed company enjoyed double digital growth in its fixed broadband operations, with revenues in the first nine months of 2009 being 10.7% up on the previous year, its overall financial performance was disappointing.
Its group revenues in the year to September amounted to PLN12.555 billion (€2.963 billion), or 7.6% less than a year earlier.
