HanseNet offers VDSL access
German telco HanseNet is now offering fibre optic (VDSL) high speed internet access with a data rate of 50 Mbit/s for downloads and 10 Mbit/s for uploads.
The VDSL service, available to new and existing customers, is marketed as a telephone and internet flat rate dubbed Alice Fun Speed for €44.90 per month, or as Alice Comfort Speed (offering premium customer service) for €54.90 per month.
The Telecom Italia subsidiary’s offer is available to around a third of German households using Deutsche Telekom’s VDSL network. After Vodafone and United Internet subsidiary 1&1, HanseNet is the third Telekom competitor to market the ex-monopolist’s VDSL connections.
