Hollandís largest cable operator Ziggo has added the catch-up TV service RTL Gemist to its interactive platform. Programmes from RTL4, RTL5, RTL7 and RTL8 can be requested until ten days after their original broadcast.

Ziggo is the second cable operator to take the service after UPC started two weeks ago. On the network, subscribers to the Ziggo Net Gemist packge at EUR 4.95 a month have unlimited access to the RTL programmes. Programmes from the Dutch public broadcasters (Uitzending Gemist) are also part of this subscription.

UPC has a different model: news programmes from RTL are available at no charge as part of the digital subscription, but drama and entertainment programming are charged at EUR 0.49 per request.
