Starman introduces new PVR

Estonia’s Starman has introduced has introduced a new generation ZUUMbox PVR aimed at its DTT subscribers.

According to the company, which is the country’s largest cableco and also operates the DTT platform ZUUMtv, the box has a 250 GB hard disk allowing for the storage of several days of HD programming, as well as a card reader giving access to over 20 domestic and foreign pay channels.

It can be bought outright for EEK5,590 (€357.3) or rented at a cost of EEK299 a month for two years.

Although Starman has not published exact cable and DTT subscriber figures since delisting earlier this year, it says its services reach a total of over 560,000 homes in Estonia.
