Dániel Pataki, the president of Hungary’s National Communications Authority (NHH), has tendered his resignation.

He has been in the post for five years and will officially vacate it at the end of January.

In a statement, the NHH says Pataki has taken the decision after successfully completing his two-year mandate at EU level to work on the review of Europe’s e-communications regulatory framework.
