The Polish Office of Competition and Consumer Protection (UOKiK) has approved the creation of a partnership between the national commercial broadcaster Polsat and JimJam CEE.

The latter currently operates the kids channel JimJam in Poland and the move will allow the two parties to create a new channel named Polsat JimJam.

Interestingly, the DTH platform Cyfrowy Polsat already offers subscribers a channel named Polsat JimJam, available in all its main programme packages from Mini upwards, whose content is understood to be the same as that of JimJam.
