Fox International Channels has rolled out a Fox-branded channel to Hong Kong, on PCCW’s Now TV platform.

The channel will showcase Fox’s US dramas, science fiction, action movies, animation, comedies and reality shows. First-run series airing at launch include Lie to Me and White Collar, plus the seventh series of NCIS.

Sonia Jackson, Senior Vice President and General Manager, Hong Kong, Fox International Channels, said: “FOX sets global TV audiences expectation high towards US entertainment. The channel received tremendous feedback in many markets such as the US, Latin America, Spain and the Middle East. In Asia, FOX dominated Korea’s pay-TV market as the No.1 channel in the western TV series genre for three consecutive years since 2007. In Japan, it is emerging as the No.1 channel on primetime in all cable networks in 2008 and 2009*. The channel is expanding aggressively in Southeast Asia, and we are delighted to partner with now TV to introduce FOX in Hong Kong with its rich first-run programming. FOX will keep keen and demanding viewers in Hong Kong stay at the forefront of the best US TV entertainment.”

Fox currently reaches more than 90 million homes in 66 countries including Germany, Italy, Spain, Portugal, Japan, Korea, Singapore, Argentina, Brazil, Colombia, Venezuela and Chile.
