UPC Will launch Playhouse Disney on the Dutch market on May 3. The channel will be part of the new KidsZone package.
At the same time, UPC will introduce a special kids channel package priced at 5 monthly and comprising BabyTV, Nick Hits, Nick Toons, Pebble TV, Playhouse Disney and Z@ppelin 24 / Familie 24. The package will replace the Baby TV channel as a stand alone channel for the same price of 5. Also new to the operator will be the kids channel Pebble TV.

Playhouse Disney is aimed at very young kids with series such as Mickey Mouse Clubhouse, Handy Manny and My Dearest Friends Tigger & Pooh. For the time being, Playhouse Disney is only available to UPC digital customers.

During school days, Playhouse Disney will also be a branded block on the Disney Channel from 9.30 till 11.30 am.

At the moment, UPC also has exclusive analogue and digital distribution of the Disney Channel. Its sister channel Disney XD is available on most Dutch platforms daytime only on analogue and 24/7 on digital.
