The two DTH services operated by the Polish commercial broadcaster TVN enjoyed mixed fortunes in the second quarter. While the new generation service n gained an additional 6,000 to take its total to 730,000, the pre-pay Telewizja na karte (TNK) lost 28,000 on the back of extraordinary events in free-to-air TV.

Revenues for n rose by 38% year-on-year in Q2 to reach PLN151 million (37.6 million), while EBITDA in the second quarter was, at PLN1 million, in the black for the first time.
