Go Malta restructures packages
08 Dec 10 -

Maltese cable operator Go Malta has dropped a number of channels from its line up and has restructured a raft of its packages.

The company has dropped the Comedy Channel and Living TV due to retranmission problems. "The territorial rights for these channels cannot be cleared for Malta and are therefore not available for redistribution by any TV operator," it said in a note.

As a result, it has added Discovery-owned wildlife channel Animal Planet, Zone Reality and Fine Living Network to its silver package as well as the Food Network to its gold package and has made a number of movies available via video-on-demand free of charge until June 2011.
