European music broadcaster wants to launch its 3D service in mid-December. The channel will initially be available in Europe via satellite an in France on IPTV platform Freebox TV, general director Bruno Lecluse announced in Paris.

Negotiations with further platform providers are underway, Lecluse expects the new channel to reach financial break-even in three years. Like the standard channel, 3D will screen new age music accompanied by landscape pictures to inspire viewers to relax and dream. launched in January 2008. The channel, based in France, is available both in standard-definition and high-definition via cable TV, satellite and IPTV on digital pay-TV platforms throughout Europe.
