F1 transmissions will be in HD

Live broadcasts Formula 1 races this year will be produced in high definition televisions ( HDTV ). The change in production has officially confirmed the Transfer Formula One Management (FOM). All television stations have rights to F1 will receive high-definition feed.

FOM has invested in world-class technology, which enables data transmission speed of 42 MB per second at a resolution of 1080i. All the track will be full HD cameras. Due to the technical complexity of the camera will remain in the cars still in standard definition.

Many broadcasters have already confirmed that F1 will be broadcast in native HD, including Sky Germany, the BBC and Globo in Brazil.
