Middle Eastern satellite pay TV platform Etisalat is rearranging its electronic program guide following extensive analysis.

The platform, which operates more than 350 channels in 21 languages, is re-aligning its channels according to language and genre based on customer feedback. The move, which will take place on March 15, will also allow the pay broadcaster to launch additional features including new multiple favorite channel lists. The change will affect subscribers to both its eLife and e-vision platforms.

"Channel renumbering is a step towards providing personalized TV viewing experience to our customers. The newly synchronized channels are based on popular customer feedback and our analysis of channel switching habits of our customers," said Etisalat e-vision chief operating officer Humaid Rashid Sahoo.
