A number of smaller community operated cable networks have been sold to the Zurich-based UPC Cablecom.

Gommiswald, Benken and Ernetschwil/Gebertingen community antennas in the canton of St Gallen and the Silenen-Amsteg TV cooperative cable network in the canton of Uri have all come to an agreement with the Liberty Global owned group. No terms have been released for the transactions.

UPC Cablecom said that as both St. Gallen and Uri TV were long-term partners there would be no change for either the communities or their customers.
