The Czech Radio and Television Council (RRTV) have awarded CET 21 a 12-year licence to operate an internet-delivered TV channel named Voyo.cz.

According to E15, Voyo.cz will be on air for between four and 16 hours daily and offer viewers a mix of news, sport, reports and drama.

CET 21 is the licence holder for TV Nova, the leading broadcaster the Czech Republic.

It has operated a portal named Voyo.cz, allowing viewers to watch TV shows on an on demand basis, for quite some time but RRTV emphasises that the new Voyo.cz will be a TV channel.
