Teleste has signed a frame agreement with Immomedianet for the upgrade of 13,200 in the Hamburg area.

The 1.4 million project will run through until the end of the year and will see the apartments, owned by Deutsche Annington, upgraded from a 450 MHz pure TV-content distribution network into an 862 MHz multimedia and high-speed internet network.

The landlord intends to market a series of multimedia services to its tenants.

Hamburg based Immomedianet was founded in 2000 and is a joint venture between the housing association and cableco Tele Columbus.
