German public broadcasters ARD and ZDF will continue to show the international games of Germany's national football team in future. A new contract was signed with domestic football association Deutscher Fußball-Bund (DFB) covering the seasons from 2012/13 to 2015/16.
The agreement, for which financial details have not been disclosed, includes the international games of the men's and women's team as well as the games of domestic Bundesliga's third league and Bundesliga's women division. The matches will be shown by ARD, ZDF and ARD's regional channels ("Dritte Programme").
The supervisory boards of ARD, ZDF and ARD's regional affiliates still have to approve the deal.
