US main Hispanic broadcaster Univisin is working on the launch of three new channels for the USA Latin market.

One channel will be dedicated to a significant sector of the audiences passion for football; the other to an equally strong passion for telenovelas. A third will cover news.

The company currently covers 70% of the country's Latin TV market and it has two in-the-clear terrestrial channels: Univisin and Telefutura. On cable it has Galavisin, formerly owned by Mexican TV company Televisa.
