Swiss daily 24 Heures is reporting that leading French commercial channel TF1 has engaged a local add agency to prospect the Swiss TV advertising market.

A so-called TF1 Switzerland could be launched on the same model of M6 Switzerland and according to 24 Heures, Swiss pubcaster RTS cant cope with extra demands caused by new legislative rules.

However, if the advertising market can be shared between various channels, existing exclusive local TV sports to football or Formula 1 will almost certainly be kept by RTS.
