Portugal's national communication association ANACOM has asked the country's main telecommunications operator Portugal Telecom to correct "immediately" failure to meet obligations regarding DTT televised broadcast service.
The association asked the telco to give "immediately" optimised promotional and information services regarding DTT, especially those concerned with the DTT portal, the Contact Centre and PT’s technical facilities.
"This information must be clear, easy accessible and rigorous according to the obligations of the government" says the association.
Among the obligations of ANACOM are those related to the acquisition of equipment and also to the sharing of such equipment and necessary installation.
ANACOM says that PT must also alter the requirements to give a subsidy to the DTT decoding equipments.
