HBO Central Europe has launched its internet streaming service HBO GO in Romania.

It is accessible to customers who have broadband internet and an HBO Maxpak subscription, with the first to receive the service being subscribers to iNES.

The latter was the first IPTV operation to launch in Romania and is distributed in Bucharest and Voluntari-Ilfov through private and secured optical fibre using FTTH technology. HBO GO, which has also recently been launched in Poland and the Adria region (Serbia, Slovenia and Bosnia & Herzegovina), offers viewers over 100 hours of programming a month, refreshed each week, around-the-clock via their PCs.
