French online media group Allociné, which delivers news on movies and series, has bought more than 300 hours of programming from Prime Entertainment Group for its upcoming TV channel.

Targeting movie fans, Allociné TV channel will be launched in September 2011 in France on cable and IPTV platforms.

The PEG deal includes programming such as docs series Hollywood Best Film Directors ( 52 x 26’), Hollywood on set (390 x 26’), Close up (52 x 26’) and brand new Hollywood News Feed (52 x 15’). Allociné’s website in France now counts 10 million viewers and 22 million in other territories.

The company is currently expanding in countries like Germany, Russia, China, Spain and Brazil.
