Spain's thematic craft home channel Hogarútil will be removed from screens on 30 June 30th after having been included in the bouquet of several pay-TV operators such as Ono, Digital+ and regional Basque cable TV operator Euskaltel.
The channel was born on May 2008 within Ono's offering. The famous Basque cook Karlos Arguiñano was its star and it also had other programs such as gardening, decoration, pets, beauty or health.
In short it was a channel based on entertainment in the home. But it will keep its programs in the internet.
Recently due to the financial crisis other Spanish thematic channels—such as Oro, Sports TV and Cinepremier—have been pulled from the country's TV panorama.
