In a bid to be market leader in its home country with a 100% digital service, Tigo is to rival Cablevisión in Paraguay's pay-TV market from August with an initial offering of 80 channels.

The operator will start first in the city of Lambaré and then will go for Fernando de la Mora, San Lorenzo, Luque and, lastly, the capital Asunción.
In the future the operator will offer 140 channels; among them there will be a HDTV package.
