Consumer electronics manufacturer Samsung and Spain's main satellite pay-TV operator Prisa TV's Digital+ have made an agreement regarding the distribution of digital entertainment.
The deal means the integration of the best audiovisual contents of the Spanish market with Samsung's various consumer electronic devices. This will enable Samsung's users to enjoy Digital+ content on their Smart TV sets connected to the internet and also on Blu-ray players, tablets and mobile phones, among other platforms.
The completion of this agreement will be made in several steps. Firstly, Digital+ subscribers will have access from their Samsung's smart TV sets to Canal+'s best programmes through distribution streamed via the internet. In addition to receiving Canal+'s live signal, they will also receive those of Canal+ F˙tbol, Canal+ Deporte, Canal+ Golf and 40TV.
The next step will see users being able to get the whole of Digital+'s contents on their smart TV
