Telefónica's DSL pay-TV operator Movistar Imagenio has boosted its DTT portfolio so that it can compete more strongly with its most direct competitor cable operator Ono.

This way the platform's subscribers already can access more DTT channels through their STB without having to get their terrestrial aerial adapted.

Six new DTT channels are now on the platform's listing: Antena 3's Nitro, Mediaset España's Divinity; Mediapro's laSexta 2, with a series of documentary shows; Mediapro’s laSexta 3 with programming schedule based on cinema; Mediaset España's Boing, addressing children; Unidad Editorial sporting channel Marca TV.

The operator has also incorporated Prisa TV's premium channel Canal+. A notable aspect of this move is the fact that so far Canal+ was not distributed through other platforms from the one belonging to Prisa TV, Digital+.
