Get is launching a series of apps that make it possible to remotely control the operator’s Get box through the iPhone or Android-based phones.
The service provides an overview of all TV programme for the next 7 days, and set a programme for later recording.
In addition to the remote control of the decoder, customers can also search or browse through the over 3,000 films and series that are available in Get’s film archives, and order the movie or series with the remote on the TV.
“The Get box has changed Norwegians’ TV habits, and a large part of television viewing is now for recordings,” said Get CEO Gunnar Evensen.
The service works on the Get box HD PVR, and has been especially adapted for the iPhone, iPad and Android based phones, but all mobile phones with a browser can use the service by going to the operator’s mobile website.
