Spain’s main cable operator Ono will start the installation of its advanced STB TiVo tomorrow in subscribers’ homes.

The decoder is manufactured by Cisco and the new service requires the installation to be in perfect condition otherwise there could be signal problems or a slowdown in the content download of the on-demand service.
To activate the new service each client must pay €150 on top of a charge of €10 per month. Among other services, TiVo offers the option to record one programme after the other (it is able to automatically record all of the episodes of the same TV series), EPG, Internet management (it can be controlled through the Internet), and control of a live broadcast. It is also compatible with HD and 3D broadcasts. In addition, the service also has Internet television with online videos, music, games, podcasts and a diverse range of applications directly accessed through the TiVo decoder.
