A new drama series, Humse Hai Liife, will be broadcast by Channel [V] in India from 5 September, following the success of its first foray into TV fiction with Dil Dostii Dance.
The new show, which follows the dreams and achievements of a young woman trying to replicate the success of her boxer father, will air Monday to Friday from 7.30pm.
“We have been the front-runners in bringing fiction to the youth entertainment category in India and have further been pioneering new concepts that excite, engage and connect with our viewers,” said Prem Kamath, executive vice president and general manager, Channel [V].
“In fact, our current daily fiction, Dil Dostii Dance, is the highest rated show in the 7pm slot, which shows our strength in our concepts and their success with our audiences.
“Humse Hai Liife has been conceptualised keeping in mind the passion and determination of the youth who are no longer scared to dream, and have great ambitions to make it big in life,” he added.
The show stars Abigail Jain as the headstrong Sia and Ankur Nayyer as her boxing coach Birendra.
