Uruguay’s TV industry is ready to produce fiction with its national free-to-air channel Teledoce airing 'Adicciones' a self-made production together with producer Contenidos TV.

Shot in HDTV, the programme is one of the top national programs at the moment and the series was successfully sold out in places such as the USA, Central America, other Latin American countries and some European territories.

Conrado Polvarini, Content TV's CEO declared to 'Todo TV News' that this is the first step in producing high quality programs in Uruguay.

"We believe this is the first step of a series of possibilities in this country because we either have the technical and the production means to compete with other top producing countries of our region," he said.
