MobiTV is bringing live NCAA college football action this fall to the iPhone and dozens of smartphones on the Android, BlackBerry and Windows 7 operating systems, across all four major U.S. wireless networks.
"Live sporting events, especially football, have proven to be some of the most popular content we deliver," said Charlie Nooney, CEO at MobiTV, in a statement. "We look forward to delivering live college football coverage this year to help fans stay connected to the action while on the go."

The carrier-based mobile TV service will air 90 scheduled regular-season college football games in the U.S. during the 2011-2012 season, with the addition of every Bowl Championship Series (BCS) game. The service plans to air 30 scheduled bowl games, including the national championship game on 9 January 2012. The games will be drawn from feeds from ESPN, FOX Sports and NBC Sports.

Michigan State University at Notre Dame, 17 September, 3:30 p.m. ET

The football service will be available on AT&T U-verse Live TV on AT&T smartphones including iPhone; Sprint TV; T-Mobile TV; US Cellular Mobile TV; and MobiTV on select Verizon Wireless devices.
