The country's president Laura Chinchilla along with the telecommunications minister René Castro, signed two decrees giving the green light to the process. Both decrees define the take-off of a comission for the watching and orientation of the project and at the same time they fix the deadline for the analogue switchover to be definitive.
The chosen date is December 2017.
