Saudi Arabia is to upgrade its state multichannel TV operation, after awarding a broadband DVB-T technology contract across 12 sites to Sacramento’s Jampro Antennas.
Announcing what the company calls a “significant” and “turnkey” project, Alex M Perchevitz, president of Jampro said: “The Ministry of Culture and Industry’s prime purchasing considerations were equipment reliability and durability, but they also insisted on the best performance.
“They learned from our many other customers in the Middle East and North Africa that our products stand the test of time.”
Jampro will provide JUHD UHF broadband antenna systems to accommodate digital video broadcasting in Saudi Arabia’s harsh desert climate, along with its Proline rigid transmission line and assorted accessories.
