In a new programme designed to expand its client base, international design and production agency Tag has turned to optimisation technology to further broadcast operations efficiency and maximise resource utilisation.

Revealing why the company needed a technology refresh, Danny Whybrow, Director of International Broadcast Operations at Tag, said: “ we need [new technology] to complement our existing systems and streamline operational processes to take our international broadcast business to the next level. It enhances our ability to process time-critical content accurately and cost effectively, freeing up our skilled staff to innovate and deliver the technical excellence for which we’re known.”

The agency has signed up content services supplier Nativ to provide the tools to streamline broadcast content processing and operational task management. At the heart of the programme will be the deployment of the latest version of Nativ’s flagship MioEverywhere video logistics platform.

MioEverywhere will be integrated within Tag’s own Marketing Resource Management solution, to provide the basis for continued expansion of its international broadcast business. All validated content will automatically go through Tag’s customised workflows, which include quality control, repurposing, metadata management and transcoding, prior to playout and distribution.
