MIPCOM 2011: Imira Entertainment goes international with new series

Renowned Spanish distributor Imira Entertainment has acquired the worldwide distribution and licence rights of two new pre-school series.

Introduced at MIPCOM together with the 'Lucky Fred' TV series, the first production will be 'La isla del faro' ('The light house island').
This series addresses children between 3 and 6 years of age and is produced by Spanish regional Catalan public broadcaster TVC together with Editorial Claret and the illustrator Pilarín Bayés. Imira has coordinated the production.
In addition, Imira has acquired the fiction comedy 'Joco' for 3-7 year olds, produced by Spanish producer El Terrar. 'La isla del faro' is made of 26 episodes, while 'Joco' has 52 episodes.
'Lucky Fred' comprises 52 episodes for children between 6 and 12 years old. This series is supported by an internet site and interactive games for mobile phones for the entire family.
