HBO Asia acquires Connor Undercover and Baxter from Shaftesbury

HBO Asia has acquired two Shaftesbury titles from its children and family collection - action adventure series Connor Undercover (39 x 30 minutes) and tween series Baxter (13 x 30 minutes).
Both series will air on HBO Family in Asia in all territories. This marks Shaftesbury's first deal with HBO Asia.
Shane Kinnear, senior vice president of sales and marketing at Shaftesbury, said: "We're looking forward to bringing these series to audiences in Asia for the first time in partnership with HBO Asia.
"Connor Undercover and Baxter feature wonderful characters in fun and often outrageous situations that kids and families in the region will no doubt relate to and enjoy."
Co-produced by Shaftesbury and Heroic Film Company in association with Family Channel Canada, Connor Undercover follows the adventures of 15-year-old spy buff Connor Heath. Connor Undercover is broadcast on Starz Entertainment in the US; Family Channel in Canada; Nickelodeon in Germany; ABC in Australia; Boomerang in Latin America; Gulli in France; VRT in Belgium; and is represented by Daro in Central and Eastern Europe and Africa.
Produced by Shaftesbury in association with Family Channel Canada, Baxter (13 x 30 minutes) focuses on a group of friends at a performing arts high school. It airs on Family Channel in Canada and Starz Entertainment in the US.
