US sports giant ESPN has revealed that it has just bought the multimedia transmission rights of the AMA Motocross Championship Series for Latin America and the Caribbean.
The deal spans three years starting from the 2012 season with nearly forty hours of programming a year. Within the terms of this agreement ESPN will transmit all of the twelve events of the AMA MX Championship Series, a summer circuit in the open air celebrated from May to September.
But apart from the races, ESPN will also transmit an hour long weekly programme during the fifteen-week AMA MX Championship Series season.
Apparent Gravity Media was in charge of the negotiations and the licence acquisition for the AMA Motocross Championship Series and will also act as the exclusive distributor.
