Venevisión to distribute contents on Netflix Latin America

Venezuela's TV distributor Venevision International has signed a deal with Netflix Latin America to distribute its premium contents.
This agreement completes the availability of productions from Organización Cisneros' (the owner of Venevisión) in the US and Puerto Rico in other digital platforms for content distribution. The recent deal by both companies will give Netflix's subscribers access to five telenovelas made by the Organización Cisneros' producers.
On the new roster will be the renowned 'Eva Luna' telenovelas and other titles in the agreement include 'Acorralada', 'La vida entera' and 'Gata salvaje'. All these productions will be available in the original versions and will be transmitted fully starting from the first months of the next year.
In further news, Jonathan Blum has returned to Venevision as its new vice-president and general manager. Miguel Dvorak, executive president and COO of Organización Cisneros and executive president of the channel, announced the appointment, highlighting that Blum's reincorporation will divide the channel's structure into two.
Blum will be in charge of all engineering and technical operation processes, as well as the channel's production, marketing, sales and alternative media, finance, human resources and legal departments. Manauel Fraíz Grijalba, executive vice-president at Venevision and with ample experience in the channel, will oversee all production, programming, image and promotion processes.
