BT Vision has best quarter for two years

BT Vision has taken its installed base to 639,000 after net additions of 41,000 homes gave the telco its best quarter in more than two years.
Q3 2011 (December 2010) had also proven strong when 40,000 new subscribers were added.
Broadband remains a key driver, both for sales of BT Vision, and revenues as a whole. Consumer ARPU increased by £5 in the quarter to £335 largely due to the increased penetration of broadband in the customer base.
BT Vision customers receive a standard definition Freeview PVR, after which with the exception of the BBC iPlayer the remainder of the available content is pay, either through subscription packages or on demand.
