KidsCo comes to Philippines cable
Joseph O'Halloran ©RapidTVNews | 07-11-2011 In the latest of its seemingly never-ending series of transmission deals, leading international children’s channel KidsCo has announced a partnership with Philippines cableco Cablelink.
The channel will be available in English for viewers in the Philippines capital Metro Manila on Cablelink’s basic tier package from the first quarter of 2012.
Under the terms of the deal, KidsCo will air its slate of Asian content including original productions such as Boo & Me series 1 and 2 and Boo’s Sanctuary, first-run exclusive Bommi & Friends and history-focusedshow Traces. It will also offer content such as Sonic Underground, Sabrina: The Animated Series, Babar and The Wiggles as well as first-run exclusive Beach Crew. From 2012, KidsCo will be airing Sinbad in Space, created in Asia by Image Venture.
