Vodafone is to start rolling out its IPTV service to non-DSL customers, who will be able to buy the Vodafone set-top box TV centre 1000 for a retail price 299.
The hybrid receiver offers digital satellite, analogue cable and IPTV reception and is for sale at Media Markt, Saturn and Euronics shops.
For Vodafone TV people need to have a broadband connection of at least 2 Mbps in order to be able to subscribe to the service.
If buyers decide to switch to Vodafone DSL within 24 months after purchasing the set-top they will receive a 249 rebate.
Vodafone TV currently has 34,000 subscibers to its hybird TV service.
