ZAGREB BUSINESS BREAKFAST. Croatia is already undertaking DVB-T2 tests and will start gradually employing the technology on two multiplexes from next year.
At the same time, according to HAKOM deputy director Zeljko Tabakovic, DVB-T will, continue to be used for free TV services.
Croatia started the transition to digital broadcasting at the beginning of last year and completed it in a record time of 10 months, or two months ahead of schedule.
As part of the process, added Tabakovic, the simulcast period lasted for around six months in each region.
