Time Warner Cable expands Rai Italia across US

Claiming to be one of the most respected broadcasters in Europe, Rai Italia will take advantage of the new deal to give an insight of Italy with festivals, concerts, movies, cooking shows, game shows, documentaries, and news.
The channel is represented in the US by International Media Distribution (IMD) who has been providing in-language programming in the US for over a decade acting for over 30 TV and video on demand (VOD) services. Other partners include with content from a variety of international sources, including: Antenna Satellite, ART, ATV, Bollywood Hits On Demand , CCTV-4, CTI-Zhong Tian Channel, Channel One Russia, Deutsche Welle, Filipino On Demand, Mediaset Italia, Russia Today News, STAR India, Tele5 and TV Polonia, TV Asia, TV JAPAN & TV JAPAN HD, TV Korea, TV5MONDE.
Rai Italia will now be available in more than 400 cities and towns within the Carolinas, including Raleigh, Charlotte, Columbia, and Greensboro. Rai Italia has been available in various pockets within Syracuse, Rochester, and Albany, but will now reach all Time Warner Cable customers in those areas as well as customers in Buffalo and New England.
