Paraguay has outlined its telecommunications plan for 2011-2015, in which $150m will be invested per year.
According to CONATEL (the national association for telecommunications), its first goal is for at least 50% of Paraguay's town halls to have access to digital TV by 2015.
Other goals include 50% of homes in Paraguay to have broadband by 2015 - the number is currently at 4% - and to start offering fibreoptic services in at least 200 locations.
