Naxoo launches VOD service
Jörn Krieger ©RapidTVNews | 14-11-2011 Swiss cable operator Naxoo has launched a video-on-demand (VOD) service on 14 November 2011.
All customers with HD receiver Naxoo One can use the service to access movies, series, documentaries, cartoons and music concerts on their TV screen, for example from Warner Bros, Universal, Paramount and Sony Pictures.
The line-up comprises more than 2,000 titles including erotic films in collaboration with French producer Marc Dorcel.
The content can initially be rented starting from CHF3.40 (€2.70) per title and later also be accessed as part of subscription packages. Selected movies are also available in a download-to-own scheme.
Additionally, Naxoo has expanded its TV portfolio: The new additions are sports channel ESPN America HD and the three Indian channels Star Plus, Star Gold and Vijay.
