Sky Germany to produce Champions League final

The UEFA Champions League final will take place in Munich on 19 May 2012 with the Bavarian Capital hosting the event for the 2nd time since 1997. For the first time, Sky Germany will produce the live coverage of the game.

As the host broadcaster, the German pay-TV operator will produce the TV signal for worldwide transmission by TV channels in SD, HD and 3D.

The Champions League final will be screened in more than 200 countries. At this year's final game more than 150 million football fans around the world witnessed FC Barcelona winning the cup at the Wembley stadium in London.
